The road to the White House goes through swing states, and that’s why Pennsylvania’s position on USA’s political map becomes so important. The swing state boasts 19 electoral votes, the most among seven swing states. Trump himself said Tuesday night that if he wins Pennsylvania, he wins “the whole deal.”
“We win Pennsylvania, we win the whole deal,” Trump told Rich Zeoli Show on Philadelphia’s Talk Radio 1210 WPHT.
“We’re going to make this country greater than ever before, but you have to stay in line. And don’t let them slow ball you. You have an absolute legal right and get that vote in because if we win Pennsylvania, if we win the good old Commonwealth, we’re going to win the whole thing. We win everything,” Trump said.
However, early trends showed Harris having a massive lead over Trump, with nearly 30 per cent votes counted. Harris got over 57 per cent votes, against Trump’s 42 per cent, indicating that Trump may be in for a rude shock here.
But can Trump still become the US president without Pennsylvania turning a red state?

Winning Pennsylvania means Harris won’t face much difficulty winning 245 Electoral College votes out of 270 required.
Without Pennsylvania, Trump would be hovering around 219 votes.
In that scenario, he would be needing 51 electoral votes from any of the six remaining swing states: Arizona (11), Georgia (16), Nevada (6), North Carolina (16), Michigan (15) and Wisconsin (10) to claim victory.
