TNN: New political party emerges in Nigeria

The party, which aims to “unite and rebuild the nation,” disclosed that its constitution and manifesto would be launched in April 2025 at a national conference in Abuja, where it will formally announce its formation.

The party’s spokesman, Dr. Mohammed Adah Shaibu, said in a statement that the National Executive Committee and Board of Trustees unanimously adopted the acronym TNN, the slogan “Greater Nigeria,” and the motto “Unite and Rebuild the Nation.”

“With this milestone achievement, the journey to the new Nigeria of our collective dreams has just commenced,” Shaibu stated.

The party’s president, Modibbo Yakubu Farakwai, assured that TNN had met all requirements set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to qualify for registration as a political party.

“To drive its mission, the group has constituted key committees, including Legal and Constitutional Compliance, Political Management, Contact and Mobilization, Finance, Publicity, Structure, Conference, and Membership Registration. These committees, led by seasoned professionals and politicians, have reportedly concluded their assignments in readiness for the party’s formal takeoff,” Shuaibu added.
