Reports indicate that the student, whose identity remains undisclosed was filming a dance video in the school when she clashed with the lecturer. While passing by, he allegedly tapped her and asked her to step aside.
She reportedly made a remark he found disrespectful, prompting him to turn back to confirm if she was his student.
The lecturer then asked her to delete the footage of him, but she refused.
The situation escalated when he reached for her phone, leading to a struggle in which she allegedly bit him on both arms, tore his clothes and slapped him.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the lecturer shared photos of the bite marks, detailing his version of events.
He said he had just left a lecture hall when he noticed the student recording a video in the walkway. After tapping her to pass, he overheard her say, “Who does he think he is?”
Concerned that he might have been recorded, he turned back and asked her to delete the video. According to him, she reacted aggressively when he tried to take her phone.
“She bit me on both arms in quick succession. I held her left hand to prevent her from running away,” he wrote.
“That was when she completely lost control—she tore my clothes, slapped and scratched my face, and went berserk. I endured it all calmly, much to my own admiration, if I do say so myself.”
The lecturer added that the case had been reported to the security office and hinted that the student’s mother, a lecturer in the Engineering department, may have influenced her actions.
His statement comes after the student released her own account, alleging that the lecturer held her chest during the altercation.
