The incident which took place in Akure, the Ondo State capital, was the opening to the public, one of the monarch’s projects, Ojaja Park.

It was a gathering of dignitaries and members of the Ogunwusi family.

But then, Prophetess Naomi, the former queen of the Ooni of Ife, walked into the venue with her son, Prince Tadenikawo.

Immediately, the atmosphere changed and everyone present wanted to carry the 4-year-old and dance with him.

Queens Temitope and Aderonke, who were present with the Ooni of Ife at the occasion, danced and held the prince’s hands.

Ooni of Ife’s sister, Princess Adesola, who was also present, carried the prince.

The Ojaja Park is a smart city built by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

It has a five-star hotel, game centre, children’s park, shopping mall, school and residential estates.

Meanwhile, at the event, Queen Naomi, who unceremoniously left the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi and announced her separation from him on December 23, 2021, looked relaxed and was seen at some moments with the Ooni and their son, when some guests pasted naira notes on the prince.

Their interactions looked very cordial.

Prophetess Naomi divorced the monarch since December 2021 when she announced it in an Instagram post.

However, the former queen, who has refused to drop the royal surname Ogunwusi, initially put up an affront on social media against the king and ethos of Ile Ife.

Though her Instagram profile still boasts her former position as queen, her exit has created room for the monarch’s former concubines to become queens after Oba Enitan Ogunwusi married them all in quick succession in 2022.

Currently, Mariam Anako is the Yeyeluwa, a position Naomi occupied as the first wife of te Ooni of Ife.
