Kola Ologbondiyan, a former National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, has accused Damagum of neglecting the party’s interests, criticizing his lack of commitment to its success.
Ologbondiyan expressed concerns that such actions could undermine the party’s efforts to reposition itself ahead of future elections.
“How can the head of the leading opposition party be accused of meeting with the President of the ruling government without a response?” he asked.
Ologbondiyan urges party leaders to intervene to rescue the main opposition party.
“Amb. Damagun has the least of interest in working for the success of the party in any election,” he added.
Ologbondiyan warned that without a substantive National Chairman, the successive off-season elections in Anambra, Ekiti and Osun may suffer the same fate as Kogi, Imo, and Ondo.
