Sharpnews reports that this appointment was announced in a statement on Thursday night by Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, the National Organising Secretary of the ruling party.
The Campaign Council consists of 306 members.
Argungu stated that the inauguration of the National Campaign Council is scheduled for October 28, 2024, and will commence around 12 p.m. at the International Event Centre (The Dome), Akure, Ondo State.
Notable members of the Campaign Council include Senate President Godswill Akpabio; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; Minister of Budget, Atiku Bagudu; Edo State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu; Senator Simon Bako Lalong; among others.
