TheNewsGuru reports Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman emerged the biggest winner of the night after clinching the CAF Men’s Player of the Year award.
Lookman also made the CAF FIFPro team of the year along with Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, while Osinachi Ohale and Asisat Oshoala were named in the women’s category of the CAF FIFPro team of the year.
Meanwhile, Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie emerged as the best women’s goalkeeper in Africa in 2024, winning the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award.
TNG reports Super Falcons defeated Morocco and South Africa to emerge winners of the CAF Women’s National Team of the Year Award.
Meanwhile, Doha El Madani defeated Nigeria’s Chiamaka Okwuchukwu to win the CAF Young Player of the Year Award (Women’s Category) and Barbra Banda defeated Nnadozie and Sanaa Mssoudy to win CAF Women’s Player of the Year Award.
