This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Bala Ibrahim.
The statement admitted the allegations had led to a significant embarrassment and degradation to the reputation of the state government.
The committee to be chaired by the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Bala Ibrahim Other members of the committee are: the Commissioner for Information, Youth, Sports and Culture , the Commissioner for Basic Education, Hon Lawal Yunusa Danzomo – Member , the Special Adviser Security Matters; -and the Principal Private Secretary to the Governor, who will serve as the Secretary to the committee.
The committee has two weeks to submit its report.
