Osho is named in Nigeria’s 23-man squad for this month’s AFCON qualifying matches against Benin Republic and Rwanda, hoping to get his first international cap.
Speaking with the NFF Media, the CB says he wants to earn the shirt and is committed to doing “everything”.
“I’ll just work as hard as I can, and I think that’s what the fans expect from every single player here,” said the 26 year-old.
“As long as everyone works as hard as they can; everyone is talented enough to be here. So now it’s just applying that and the work ethic. That’s what I got; much hard work, and everything for the shirt.”
Nigeria camp in Abidjan for Thursday’s match against Benin Republic, and a chance for interim Coach, Austin Eguavoen to try out new faces.
Super Eagles need a point to secure Group D’s top spot and qualification to the 2025 AFCON.
Subsequently, following their match against Benin Republic at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium, Super Eagles return to Uyo.
The team will close out their campaign when they face Rwanda’s Amavubi at the Godswill Akpabio Int’l Stadium.
