Yes, he provides for all our needs. This is how he defined the roles. He wants me to dedicate my time to raising our kids while he focuses on bringing home the money.

I thought it wasn’t a problem at first but now it is. There are personal problems I have that need to be solved with money I cannot ask my husband for. I am not proud of this.

I am twenty-six but I cannot boast of even five thousand naira in my account. I want things to change. But I still want to make time for my two kids. That’s why I am trying to get a job close to me here in Ojuore Obasanjo, Iyana. If anyone knows of any opportunities, I have an O-level.

In the meantime, my husband hasn’t still agreed for me to work and both our families support him. How do I get him to change his mind?
