According to reports, the girl (name withheld) went to farm with her brother in Emure-Ekiti, Emure LGA of the state
However, they were ambushed on the road by two men suspected to be herders.
The brother escaped but his younger sister was held by the suspects, who killed her after she resisted their rape attempts.
Meanwhile, two persons have been arrested in connection with the incident.
When contacted, the Ekiti State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Ekiti State Police Command, SP Sunday Abutu, confirmed the sad incident, adding that details of the dastardly act would be release later.
