Gunmen attack petrol station in Oyo, kill one, abduct attendant

The deceased, identified as Ayanladun, a former local government staff, was attending a church service nearby but had stepped into the petrol station to retrieve his phone when the attackers arrived.He was shot alongside the station’s security guard, who is now receiving treatment at a private hospital in Iseyin.

The abducted victim is an attendant at the petrol station.

Meanwhile, efforts to get a response from the Oyo State Police Command spokesman, Adewale Osifeso, were unsuccessful at the time of filing this report.
