First Female Vice President in Ghana As Mahama Wins Presidential Election

John Mahama, the former President of Ghana has won 2024 presidential election. This is Mahama’s second time as President, after serving from 2012 to 2017. He was the Vice President of Ghana from 2009 to 2012. Mahama became President after John Evans Atta Mills died in office.

His victory led to emergence of first female Vice President in Ghana, Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyeman.
