The list includes Simon Adingra of Brighton, Serhou Guirassy of Dortmund, Achraf Hakimi of PSG, Ademola Lookman of Atalanta and Ronwen Williams in South Africa.
Lookman is considered the overwhelming favourite to go ahead and win it after scoring a hat-trick in the Europa League final last season — the first player to do so.
The 2024 CAF Awards will take place at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco on Monday, December 16.
