The 62-year-old Andersson admitted he turned down the Super Eagles job as well as that of Latvia.
“There have been several hot assignments, but it’s just that I haven’t chosen to comment on them,” he toldFotbollskanalen.
“Latvia and Nigeria talked about it, and then I felt I could comment on those.
“There have therefore been others that have come to nothing.”
The coach, who last worked as Sweden coach in November 2023, said he has been a lot more careful about the offers tabled before him, while also wondering whether he ought to even continue as a football coach.
Most recently he has been linked with the job at Djurgarden IF, who play in the Swedish top flight.
He refused to comment on this.
