The development was contained in a post by security analyst Zagazola Makama on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday night.
According to the post, the Chairman of Tsafe Local Government Council, Malam Garba Shehu Fanchers, described the arrest as a major breakthrough in the fight against insecurity in the area.
“This success is a result of the dedication of our security personnel and the prayers and support of our people. Under my leadership, I have vowed to do everything possible to protect the lives and property of our citizens,” Fanchers stated.
He emphasized that Governor Dauda Lawal’s administration has made security a top priority.
He added that the latest arrest reflects the government’s ongoing efforts to dismantle criminal networks in Zamfara State.
“With your prayers and cooperation, we will defeat terrorism and restore peace to our communities.”
Fanchers also urged residents to continue supporting security agencies, expressing optimism that more successes would be recorded as the fight against criminal activities intensifies.
