The suspects were arrested on 19/2/2025 at about 1600hrs, DAILY POST reports.
The suspects included Buhari Bala ‘m’ aged 28yrs, Habibu Sale ‘m’ aged 25yrs, Abdulwahab Musa ‘m’ aged 20yrs, and Taisu Bala ‘m’ aged 20yrs.
Delta State Police Command, led by CP Olufemi Abaniwonda, confirmed the report in a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe.
According to the police image maker, the suspects who are all male, claimed they were coming from Zaria, Kaduna State, going to a bush in Igbogri community for hunting expedition.
SP Edafe also disclosed that the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, Agbarho Division, CSP Pius Eredei and operatives have arrested a 40-year-old man, Eriga Enyuche in his one room apartment.
“Upon search of his one-room apartment, one G-3 Rifle, one pump action gun was recovered hidden in the ceiling of the room. Investigation is ongoing,” he said.
