Mrs Akinrinmola, former Chairperson of Gbonyin local government said the national leadership of the PDP failed to do due diligence in coming up with the 19-member list which only has only two women.
Mrs Akinrinmola urged the party to include six female in the list in order to give women a sense of belonging in the party without further delay.
She also alleged that some members of the party who had indicated interest to contest were included in the list.
The PDP woman therefore charged the National Secretariat to withdraw the list and do the necessary amendement in order to reflect the true image of the party.
She equally warned that failure to correct the alleged anomalies could dampen the spirit of the women folk inn the party or forced them to quit.
“I am surprises to see a list full of men with only two women. What are they trying to tell the women who stood by the party in difficult times? Are they saying women are no longer relevant in the party? Even if they claim to know the credentials of active women in Ekiti, can’t they consult some of us who have led the party before?”, she queried.
