Speaking at the event, the president of the organization, Chief Chinedu Mbakwe, said the inauguration marked the end of a crisis ridden era and the beginning of an era that is full of hope and prosperity for members.

He stated that the objective of the organization is to promote and protect the interests of members.

“Once a member has issues, we rally round the members and find a solution to the issue. We make sure that when you look back, you will see your brothers standing behind you,” the president of Ndi Igbo Computer Village said.

He disclosed that the organization comprises Igbo people in different associations in the market, adding that the organization was formed to make the Igbo have a formidable common front.

He asserted that the executive was elected in 2024 and has recorded tremendous achievements.

Mbakwe also disclosed that the organization is collaborating with similar bodies to promote peace and unity in the market.

The president of Ndi Igbo Computer Village charged young people to work hard and be patient, adding that the will succeed in the end. He added that they should stay away from crime and criminality.

Also speaking at the event, Eze Uche Dimgba, Eze Ndi Ikeja, called on the executive members to be open and transparent in running the affairs of the organization.

According to him, “If you let the people know what you are doing and why you are doing it, they will support and follow you but if you are secretive and arrogant, they will be suspicious and this is the beginning of trouble.

Eze added that the new executive should not stay in office beyond their term, adding that if they do well, they may be returned unopposed.

In his comment at the event, Chief V.O. Odinaka, the chairman of the Elders’ Council, advised the members to support their leaders, adding that their support will lead to the success of the organization.

However, Eze Okey Anorue, Eze Ndi Igbo, Igbogbo Bayeku, charged the members and the executive to work as a team, adding that collaboration always leads to success.
