The lawmaker, in a statement by his media consultant, Michael Ogah, added that his defection was not driven by electoral ambitions.

The statement said Nwoko spoke in Agbor while addressing stakeholders and party supporters.

“I did not leave the PDP because of elections. My decision was made after deep reflection on the party’s internal challenges and my commitment to ensuring that my people receive the best possible representation,” he stated.

The senator emphasized that his focus remains on delivering quality representation and supporting policies that drive progress in Delta State.
