Sunday Telegraph reports that the event is scheduled to hold at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Port Harcourt.

The Chairmen and their guests are expected to take their seats by 3:30 pm.

This inauguration marks a significant milestone in the state’s local government administration, according to Dr. Tammy Wenike Danagogo, Secretary to the State Government.

The newly elected chairmen will represent the 23 local government areas of Rivers State.

Sunday Telegraph reported earlier that the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) declared 23 candidates of the Action Peoples Party (APP) as winners of the October 5 local government elections.

Justice Adolphus Enebeli, Chairman of RSIEC, announced the election results, stating that the APP candidates secured a majority of valid votes in two-thirds of their respective wards across the 23 local government areas.
