He said this in defense of Rasmus Hojlund, insisting that the striker is not the only underperforming player.
Eriksen is optimistic that the youngster will improve and live up to expectations.
This comes after his compatriot faced intense criticism for his performances in Manchester United’s attack this season.
Hojlund, who was introduced in the second half of the Red Devils’ 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Sunday, missed a last-minute opportunity to secure the win for his team.
This also fueled questions regarding his proficiency as the designated number nine.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Eriksen defended Hojlund, his Danish compatriot and United teammate:
“I am pretty confident that he will come good. He is a hard-working guy, and he is unhappy when he doesn’t score goals.
“But you can name about ten other players in the team who don’t score enough goals. He is a good kid; he will be fine.”
Hojlund has struggled in attack this season, scoring only twice in 23 league games.
Overall, he has seven goals and one assist in 37 appearances this season.
