Senator Monday Okpebholo, Governor of Edo State, has approved the immediate reinstatement of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma staff who were unlawfully dismissed by the defunct Special Intervention Team (S.I.T.) in March 2023 during former Governor Godwin Obaseki’s administration.

In a statement issued by Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq., Secretary to the State Government, it was noted that the affected staff, who were members of the Academic Staff Union, were unjustly terminated following their demands for overdue salaries and benefits owed by the previous administration.
