On a more positive note, both Ben White and Mikel Merino participated in training on Monday. Arteta expressed cautious optimism about their availability, stating, “Ben White and Mikel Merino were able to train and we will see if they are able to start tomorrow.”

With Thomas Partey suspended for the match, Merino’s potential return could be crucial in midfield. White’s presence would also bolster the defense, especially in Calafiori’s absence. Final decisions on their inclusion in the starting lineup will be made closer to kickoff.
