BREAKING: 2 Men arraigned for alleged theft of N460,000 property

The suspects are now facing a two-court charge of felony and stealing.

They, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The Prosecutor, ASP Edet Ekpo told the court that “the defendants committed the offences on February 16 at the 11 a.m. in Ikoga area of Badagry, Lagos state”.

They allegedly conspired to steal property valued at N460,000 belonging to one Dare Odek.

The prosecutor stated that “the offences violate sections 411 and 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State”.

The Chief Magistrate, Mr N.A. Layeni, granted the defendants bail in the sum of N1 million each with two sureties in like sum.

The case has been adjourned until March 26.
