Porto said they paid an additional €3m to Barcelona for 20% of any future sale on Nico.
By accepting that €3m, Barcelona will only get 20% of Nico’s €60m release clause paid by Man City, not 40% as it was widely touted.
Barcelona made a mistake accepting that €3m because now they have lost out on €11m from the money generated by that transfer.
