Research has shown that some of the more common bad drinking habits such as pouring cold water down your throat as fast as you can, drinking water while standing up, or simply drinking large quantities of water at once, do have some sticky health consequences like achy joints, troubles with the kidneys or even water retention! Yes, the way you drink water actually matters.
These are some of the ways (and the ones that are more often committed) that can keep creating problems and solutions to keep those problems at bay.
1. Stop Drinking Water Too Fast
When water is consumed too fast, the body experiences shock, the acid present in the stomach starts getting diluted, and there is undue pressure on the kidneys. This can lead to bloating and even poor digestion.
