While describing the apex court’s verdict as an affirmation of the mandate freely given to the governor by the people, Ojogo stated that the development will, in no small measure, pave the way for continued progress and development in the state.

The Supreme Court, on Tuesday, affirmed Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress as the governor of the state after dismissing Agboola Ajayi’s appeal on the grounds that it was filed out of time and that he lacked the right to file the lawsuit.

The House of Representatives member, in a statement issued, urged the people of the state to support the governor to enable the government to concentrate on developmental issues.

He said: “This landmark judgment reaffirms the credibility of the November 16 election, where the duo emerged victorious across all 18 local governments of Ondo State.

“The people’s mandate has been upheld, and this victory marks the end of all legal distractions. In no small measure, this has paved the way for continued progress and development in our great state.

“As we celebrate this triumph, I commend Governor Aiyedatiwa and Deputy Governor Adelami for their strong belief in the judicial process that has brought hope and continued commitment to the welfare and prosperity of the people of Ondo State.

“I urge the good people of Ondo State to remain united and focused on this fresh path of progress. Let us continue to support our leaders as they strive to build a brighter future for our state.”
