Tinubu’s media aide, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a post on his official X handle.
He wrote, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu with the visiting President of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Monday.”
DAILY POST reports that Bio arrived at the Villa at 12:22 p.m. on Monday in the company of the bagpipers of the Presidential Guards Brigade.
He was received by Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, President Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, who ushered him into a closed-door meeting.
The reason for the visit is yet unknown, but Nigeria and Sierra Leone have maintained strong diplomatic relations since they both became independent in 1960 and April 1961, respectively.
