The announcement of his death was made by the Secretary of the Ningi Emirate, Alhaji Usman Sule, Magayakin Ningi, in a statement written in Hausa.
The funeral prayer for the late Emir will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Emir’s Palace in Ningi, followed by his burial.

Born in Ningi in 1936, Alhaji Yunusa Muhammad Danyaya had a long and distinguished career in public service and traditional leadership.

He began his education at Ningi Elementary School, continued to Bauchi Middle School, and later pursued studies in Public Administration at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria. He also attended courses at the School of Hygiene in Kano and the British Council.
Throughout his tenure as the Emir of Ningi, Alhaji Yunusa was known for his commitment to justice, fairness, and the well-being of his people.
