A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and close associate of President Bola Tinubu, Joe Igbokwe, has expressed strong displeasure over reports that several former governors may be aligning with ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Reacting to the reports, Igbokwe, a former spokesman of the APC in Lagos State, took to his Facebook page on Saturday to voice his frustration. He urged the political figures in question to return to the ruling party, adding that the idea of them siding with Atiku was deeply unsettling.
