“Let me send a message to everyone talking about Damagum this, Damagum that – I cannot be intimidated. The more you mention me, the more popular I become,” he declared.

Damagum’s remarks come in the wake of reports suggesting that the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) might take action against him and National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu over a controversial letter sent to the Court of Appeal in Port Harcourt, which was perceived as anti-party activity.

Some party leaders, including members of the National Executive Committee (NEC), have reportedly advocated for sanctions against both Damagum and Anyanwu.
