The incident occurred on December 16, 2024, at Chinedu’s residence in Johannesburg South, South Africa, where he was fatally shot by armed assailants.
A disturbing account of the events leading up to Chinedu’s murder has been shared by Mr. Ade, a Nigerian familiar with the details of the case.
According to Mr. Ade, Chinedu’s estranged wife, Busisiwe Sibanyoni, had a strained relationship with him and had called him earlier that day to collect their children, despite it being Chinedu’s scheduled time with them.
After Chinedu handed over the children, armed men arrived at his home and k!lled him.
The situation has taken a further devastating turn, with reports that Busisiwe has taken possession of Chinedu’s body, complicating the already dire circumstances.
This has stirred outrage and caused Mr. Ade to appeal to Nigerians and the Nigerian embassy to ensure justice is served for Chinedu, a father of four who struggled to protect his family during his lifetime.
