The Vice President also mentioned the Youths Investment Fund, which provides critical financial support for start-ups and small businesses, ensuring that young Nigerians can turn their ideas into thriving ventures.
Furthermore, he announced a $618 million initiative designed to support tech and creative enterprises in the digital and creative sector.
Shettima assured the youths that the government is working to establish a National Youth Development Bank and a youth data bank to provide young Nigerians with the resources, information, and access they need to succeed.

National President of NYCN, Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubu, thanked the Rivers State Government for hosting the 60th-anniversary celebration. He called on the government to implement policies that would address the current hardship faced by Nigerians and appealed to youths to acquire skills and focus on entrepreneurship rather than relying on white-collar jobs.
The event marked a significant milestone in the NYCN’s history, highlighting the organization’s efforts to empower Nigerian youths and promote positive change.
