This measure aims to alleviate the financial challenges faced by FCTA workers, according to a statement issued by the Acting Head of Civil Service of the FCT, Mrs. Grace Adayilo.
The statement, shared with journalists, confirmed that the Minister also authorized the payment of three months’ salary arrears, effective November 2024.
Mrs. Adayilo noted that the decision underscores the Minister’s dedication to the welfare of FCTA staff and their well-being. She emphasized that the gesture is expected to motivate workers to fully support the Minister’s efforts in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Acting Head of Service expressed gratitude to Minister Wike for consistently prioritizing staff welfare by promptly approving payments for allowances and claims.
