Primate Ayodele claimed that Akpabio’s comments would bring disrespect to the Senate and create divisions among its members. According to the clergyman, the Senate will experience internal segregation as a result of Akpabio’s alleged incompetence. “Akpabio must be careful because they would soon gang up to remove him if he doesn’t manage his statements,” Ayodele warned.
He further predicted that the Senate under Akpabio’s leadership would face increased turmoil and possibly witness a “rowdy session” as tensions rise. “Akpabio will make the current Senate to be disrespected, and those with the voice of the people won’t allow them,” he added.
Primate Ayodele also suggested that despite Akpabio’s role as Senate President being primarily symbolic, his actions could lead to his removal, causing significant unrest within the legislative body.
