[BREAKING] AFCON U-20: Flying Eagles Intensifies Training Ahead Tunisia Opener

The 90-minute practice started at 6:00 PM local time (5:00 PM Nigerian time) and mostly focused on team coordination and tactical drills.

The team’s pre-tournament friendly versus Egypt’s U-20 team, the Young Pharaohs, prompted coaches to concentrate on improving game plans and player unity.

Throughout the session, all 24 of the players at camp participated enthusiastically and with great focus and intensity.

As they get ready for their crucial game against Tunisia on May 1st, the Flying Eagles will take to the field once more on Thursday night for another training session.

Thirteen African countries will compete for four FIFA U20 World Cup tournaments in the 2025 CAF age-grade tournament, with the winners taking home the trophy.

With seven cabinet crowns, Nigeria is the most successful squad.
