The NNPCL, in a post via its official X handle Saturday evening, confirmed that no fewer than 100 trucks from the company have arrived at Dangote refinery at Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State.

“In preparation for the Dangote Refinery’s scheduled petrol loading on Sunday, September 15, 2024, NNPC Ltd. has been mobilizing trucks to the refinery’s fuel loading gantry in Ibeju-Lekki.

“As of Saturday afternoon, NNPC Ltd. had deployed over 100 trucks, with hundreds more en route,” the nation’s oil company tweeted.

Meanwhile, the Presidential Committee on the Sale of Crude Oil and Refined Products, while confirming that the lifting of petrol from the refinery will commence on Sunday, also announced that the.

One of the committee members and Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Zacch Adedeji, also disclosed that the NNPCL, in return, will commence the sale of crude oil to the Dangote refinery with 385,000 bpd to be paid in Naira from October 1.

According to him, the refinery is free to sell diesel to other off-takers while NNPCL remains the sole buyer of petrol from the refinery.
