Because of this, God was always with them, blessing them, honoring them for their unshakable belief in Him, and rescuing them from their tribulations and anguish. Psalm 37:5 states, “Commit your way to the Lord; have faith in Him, and he will make your paths straight.”. Those who are obedient to God will be honored, and God will bless them.

This historical account indicates that God remembers those individuals who are honest: Once upon a time, there lived a gentleman who revered God and remained faithful to the teachings that He provided.

On the other side, his coworkers would make fun of him because of his religious beliefs. At one point, this man and his coworkers were waiting for promotions, and at that time, everyone got promoted except for this man. The individuals who were making fun of him increased their level of ridicule upon learning that he would not be promoted.

The wrongdoing committed against this kind person was brought to the attention of a more senior officer who was working in the office at the time. Not only did he give him the promotion he was due, but he also advanced him to a position that was greater. Through these means, justice was carried out. As a direct consequence of this, many who made fun of him now understand the power and significance of his trust in God.

16:3 In the book of Proverbs, it is advised that whatever you do, you should commit it to the LORD, and he will make your plans come true.

Let us recite this prayer together, holding hands.

1. I want to thank you, Lord Jesus, for reviving me today through your word, which you have spoken into my life, rather than through my own power or intelligence.

2. I want to thank you, Lord, for giving me life, for giving me courage, and for giving me grace. You, Lord God, had pity on me and provided me with a second opportunity at life, while many other people slept and were unable to wake up from their sleep.

3. I want to thank you, Lord, for keeping watch all night long over my household and me. In the name of Jesus, we are grateful that You have entrusted us to be cared for.

4. As I lift my voice to a pitch that is higher than the heavens, Lord Jesus, I ask for your favors to be showered upon me.

5. In the name of Jesus, I pray that the purposes that You have placed in my heart for this day will be developed, fulfilled, and accomplished. You have assured us that if we tell you our plans and you approve them, then those plans will be put into action.
