The president has faced backlash from his presidential campaign team members who expressed their displeasure in him for appointing someone who stood against them during the campaign.
One of the campaign team members, Barrister Jesutega Onokposa, who was a major voice for Tinubu during the campaign narrated how Daniel Bwala called Tinubu unprintable names yet he got an appointment as a ‘reward’.
Onokposa noted that President Tinubu’s action is betrayal, especially because some others who worked for him, including Femi Fani-Kayode, have been neglected despite their struggles during and after the election.
Onokposa made it known that the campaign team brought Tinubu to power and it’s wrong to align with an opposition like Daniel Bwala who worked with PDP’s Atiku Abubakar during the election.
