‘Our job is not yet finished’, Obasanjo begs Nigerian leaders

A former presidmet of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has pleaded with leaders, both past and present, to remain committed to building the nation.

The former president while making a presentation at the ongoing book launch by ex-governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido said the leaders’ objectives are yet to be accomplished across Nigeria.

Lamido’s autobiography, ‘Being True to Myself’, is being launched at the Nigerian Air Force Conference Centre in Jahi, Abuja.

At the event, Obasanjo appealed to the former governor and other leaders present at the event to remain resolute and not to relent in their effort to make Nigeria great.

He informed leaders present at the occasion that it is their core responsibility to ensure that Nigeria becomes that nation everyone dreams of.

His words, “Nigeria that we are working for, we haven’t gotten there. And I believe it is the responsibility of each of us to ensure that we get there.

“Our job is not finished until we are finished,” Obasanjo said.
