His 25-year-old daughter died on Friday.
Vice President Kashim Shettima expressed his condolences to Kyari and his family, offering prayers for the repose of the deceased’s soul.
Shettima also prayed for strength for the family to endure the loss.
The vice president joined other mourners at the funeral prayer held at Annur Mosque in Abuja.
