The investiture, which took place at an impressive ceremony held at the University Of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos, At The Weekend, Attracted Several Top Personalities.
Presenting the award, the Leadtimes Africa Magazine, Advisory Board Chairman, Dr Isaac Chukwudi, described Barrister Ndanusa as a focused entrepreneur, who had impacted positively on the lives of many Nigerians and contributed immensely to the socio-economic development of Nigeria.
His words: “Chief Ndanusa was chosen as Leadtimes Africa Magazine Businesswoman of the Year by a wide margin of votes because she has taken quantum steps to banish unemployment and put smiles on faces of widows and orphans.”
He noted that the award was contested among other nominees, but Dr Ndanusa came tops.
Responding, Ndanusa, currently the National President of Nigerian Association Of Women Entrepreneurs (NAWE), thanked the management of the Leadtimes Africa Magazine for giving her the prestigious award, even as she promised to guard her loins to work much harder for the economic development of Nigeria.
Speaking with Sunday Independent, Chief Ndanusa, who is also the Chief Executive Officer Of Vertimas Nigeria Ltd, called on the Federal Government to work towards reducing the cost of doing business in Nigeria by ensuring constant electricity supply and improving infrastructural facilities in the country.
He urged the President Bola Tinubu administration to make policies that would banish hunger and give the greatest good to the greatest number of people in Nigeria.
She said: “The government should seriously deal with the increasing wave of banditry and encourage productivity, thereby boosting the economy among others.”
