Don’t Water a Plant You Don’t Eat its Fruits
A lady said no to my proposal. When I asked why, she told me I wasn’t her type. I was hurt, but I thanked her for her honesty. Since then, I’ve learned to also chase my type of woman. My type is a woman who has her own money—I’m not talking about crazy money, but a woman who has something substantial to fall on.......CONTINUE READING THE ARTICLE FROM THE SOURCE>>>>>
Looks are not that important. If she has her own money, I’m attracted. Since I learned that from the lady who said no to me, I’ve saved a lot of money—money I would have given to women I’m dating.
Before she said no to me, I went in for any woman at all, even if she wasn’t my type. I was looking for sex, and so any woman would do. Those I got had nothing, so I had to provide. The truth I learned later is that even those women who said yes to me lied. I wasn’t their type because once I didn’t give them what they wanted, they started withdrawing.
So currently, instead of going for any woman at all just to satisfy my emotional need, I go for the one who has what I want in a woman. They are difficult to get because such women also have standards. They are very selective, and that’s okay. It’s the reason I’ve been single for two years, but in these two years, I’ve saved money. I’ve improved my finances. I’ve learned the discipline of waiting so I will be a better man for the next woman I get.
So I tell my friends, “Don’t go around throwing money at women because of your emotional needs.” Be honest with yourself: Is the woman you’re currently dating your type, or are you with her because she was available and you picked her up?
The answer to this question is the reason most men cheat, because a lot of us are with women we wouldn’t be with if the ones we wanted also wanted us. So we are with these ones while going around looking for the ones we really want. If you’re doing this, you’re wasting time and money. You’re watering plants whose fruits you don’t enjoy.
