According to the Daily Mail, on the final day of the winter transfer market, the Blues are interested in bringing Nico O’Reilly, a prospect from Manchester City, and Lorient starlet, Eli Junior Kroupi to Stamford Bridge.

After making an inquiry in recent weeks, Enzo Maresca’s side have become rivals to Bournemouth. It is believed that West Ham’s attempt to acquire the French talent has failed.

The Ligue 2 midfielder had previously been the target of a bid from the Hammers for up to £30 million. However, Bournemouth had a stronger position since they wanted to keep the player on loan at his club for the remainder of the season.

Meanwhile, Nico O’Reilly, a 19-year-old prodigy from City, has also drawn interest from Chelsea.

The Blues will have spent more than £300 million on teenagers since Todd Boehly took over if they are able to finalize deals for both prospects.
