The ceremony took place on Thursday at the old chamber of the Government House in Gusau.
During the event, the governor also introduced a new Office for Donor Activities and Programs, which will be led by a Permanent Secretary reporting directly to him.
Governor Lawal praised Haidara’s vast administrative experience spanning over 30 years, highlighting his leadership in advancing public sector reforms to improve efficiency and transparency.
According to the governor, the selection of the new Permanent Secretaries was a thorough process, involving refresher courses, examinations, and evaluations conducted by the Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN).
He reiterated his administration’s dedication to appointing officials based on merit and upholding professionalism within the civil service.
Governor Lawal urged the newly appointed officials to align their work with his administration’s six-point agenda, ensuring their contributions drive effective governance in Zamfara State.
