He said all decisive steps had been taken to making the youth of the constituency productive through trade, business, vocational, and technological innovations.
Hon Asama in a statement by his director of media, Brian Lang, said his, “vision is to transition the constituency from a dependency-driven economy to a self-sustaining, production-based society capable of harnessing its abundant natural resources for sustainable development.”
“Hon. Asama has introduced an Establishment Bill at the National Assembly seeking the creation of the Vocational and Entrepreneurship Institute, Jos.
“This institute will serve as a pivotal Center for Training, Harnessing, and Networking the Skills of the Youth, equipping them with the necessary expertise to thrive in the evolving global economy,” Asama said.
He said beyond legislative activities, his office was actively engaging the government and key stakeholders to secure meaningful partnerships with industry leaders and foreign investors.
“Demonstrating this commitment, the Taiwan Ambassador to Nigeria, Andy Yih-Ping Liu, recently paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Asama’s office at the National Assembly.
During this high-level engagement, discussions were held regarding a potential Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaboration in technological innovation and trade,” the statement said.
