It was gathered that some of the successful candidates have received congratulatory messages.
Speaking on the recruitment, the Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon. Olagunju Moshood Olalekan, announced that the distribution of kits to the 10,000 beneficiaries is underway.
According to Hon. Olagunju, the congratulatory messages officially mark the beneficiaries’ enrollment in the empowerment program.
He encouraged those who were not shortlisted to remain patient, assuring them that another round of empowerment opportunities would soon be available, where they could also benefit.
He urged members of the IMOLE Youth Corps to perform their duties with diligence and commitment, emphasizing that periodic inspections would be conducted to ensure compliance and productivity.
The commissioner further advised the youth to uphold exemplary behavior and actively engage in meaningful activities, reminding them of the age-old adage that “an idle mind is the devil’s workshop.”
